ColdBoost™ enables you to try out cold bathing in an immersive and controlled manner from the comfort of your own home. Experience the invigorating and exhilarating health benefits that come with cold water therapy at the end of your normal showering routine – whether you’re kickstarting your morning or winding down after a workout, this new feature may help give you a natural, refreshing boost, may boost circulation, energise your mood and enhance recovery.

At the end of your regular shower, simply access the Pre-set/Experiences menu from the user controller as shown in our demo video and select the level of ColdBoost™ you prefer. There are four level of experience to choose from which vary the speed of temperature drop and the duration of the ColdBoost™ shower: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced and Expert.

Once you start, you will see a visual prompt on the user controller screen to mentally prepare you ready for the experience before the on-screen indicator then shows you the temperature setpoint dropping down to full cold water. Once at full cold, a timer will show you how long you have left immersed in full cold water before a congratulatory message at the end upon successful completion.

The ColdBoost™ experience levels have been curated after lots of research and development. They cannot be customised.

If you’re buying a brand new Activate product, it’s likely to already be pre-installed on the user controller out of the box. If you’re an existing Activate customer, a free software update is available for you to download, which will enable the new ColdBoost™ feature.

If you haven’t already, download the Mira Showers mobile app for iOS or Android, connect your product and then follow the on-screen prompts to connect your Activate to your home Wi-Fi and receive product software updates. The update to your software may take a while to complete so it’s best to start this process outside of your family’s normal bathing schedule.
